Posted September 26, 200717 yr I have noticed that performance logs created on 2K3 three boxes take alot longer to open than on 2K boxes. If I have two identical servers collecting the same counters in system monitor the 2K3 box takes alot longer to open the same size log file. The only differnce between the servers is the OS. Any ideas on what to look for? So far I have: Tried the test on two newly built servers Tried to open the log file on servers that did not create the log file Rebuilt the performance counters per Microsoft KB
