Uninstalling Logitech Drivers Corrupts Registry

I've been trying to get rid of the 9.41 drivers as the mouse is acting

weird and it looks like a driver problem - the only REAL problem is

once I uninstall and reboot, the mouse and keyboard are gone.

I can put a USB (the K/B and mouse are PS/2) on it and at least get

THAT working, but there is - suddenly - a conflict (exclamation point)

on the keyboard is an error 9 registry corrupted.

The ONLY thing that repairs it - is an image replacement - am trying

just a registry files restore now.

Any ideas would be GREATLY welcome.
