I was directed to search this newsgroup for IP/RPC search by Steve Winograd

from the Networking newsgroup. What I found here from you was the exact fix I

needed for my issue of the ipconfig/renew error message I was getting: RPC

server unavailable. I t5hink it was this hint that worked; Do the same for

DHCP Client. This was the only one of the three jhints you highlighted here

that was set to manual. After setting it to auto and starting it that the

cable modem started up.
