Event ID 1007, Source: Userenv, Type: Error

Event ID 1007, Source: Userenv, Type: Error

Windows cannot determine the associated site for this computer. (The

RPC server is unavailable. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

I get this error both the System and Users when any user logs onto the

machine and every hour or so after. I am not on a domain and I have

access to this computer using remote desktop from other machines. I

have enabled/started every service on the machine to try to end the

error but it persists.

I have Internet access and everything seems to work alright as far as

that and remote desktop etc. is concerned. So I'm not sure why I get

the error. I've done allot of Goggling over the last couple of weeks

but can't seem to find the right info to resolve the issue.
