NAT / SmartAX MT882

Is anyone familiar with this adsl modem/router and it's NAT, ...and other

settings.

It's being distributed by TalkTalk ISP here in the UK.

I rummaged through, and checked it's settings as best I could and NAT is on

but, the rest of the settings look nothing like I've ever seen before,

...well I recognized most of them :-(

Using Steve Gibsons port probing job at http://www.grc.com/default.htm

the machine to which the above mentioned modem/router is connected got a

"failed" on his Common Ports check. The results screen for the check on the

common service ports responded with lots of them being responding "blocked"

instead of not responding / "stealthed," and that port 80 was wide open.

It was on this machine, about which I posted on MS NG's a short while ago,

that I noticed that whilst progressing to the "ports checking" page at grc

that URL changes from http:// to https:// and IE7's Internet Zone security

slider disappears, ...perhaps it's normal for that slider to disappear when

progressing from a non-SSL to a SSL link ?

....anyhow, any tips for security settings in this Huaywei would be helpful.
