Posted September 9, 200717 yr I am running on an Acer Aspire 5000 with AMD Turion 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 60GB HDD formatted as NTFS and XP Pro. When I run Explore, it opens fine. But when I then try to expand the "C" drive to see more detail (folders, etc.), it takes about 30 seconds before it expands ( the hour glass displays during this time). Once it expands, I can collapse and expand it instantly. If I close Explore, however, and re-open it. The same problem occurs. Tom
