Posted September 7, 200717 yr I'm testing virtual server 2005 SP1. I'm told that you can use virtual server for bare metal backup/restore of our servers. However in reviewing the documentation I don't see any mention on how this is done. Using virtual server how do you backup and entire server, store it, and then perform a restore to a system with no OS on it? Can this even be done in Virtual Server 2005?
