Guest Eaglet Sam Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I had to reinstall my Windows XP recently due to a critical malfunction. The reinstalled XP was activated without any trouble. But attempt to activate the reinstalled Office 2003, by internet, failed with an error mesage saying that maximum number of activation has been done! This may indeed be the case, but it never occurred to me that reactivation would be difficult on the same machine. I then tried telephone activation. Now, I was given a set of two 11-digit numbers, which obviously did not match the set of nine 6-digit numbers required by the Activation Wizard. I was therefore left quite confused! To complicate matters, I have not backed up the entire system before the crash! I would very much appreciate if someone could suggest how I may be delivered before my Office Suit begins to degrade!
