Posted September 1, 200717 yr I somehow manged to mangle my config such that I lost connection to the internet. I was unable to restore the connection and eventually ran out of ideas and opted to reinstall windows (not a lot of fun!). I ran a diagnostic which gave the following error message: 'NetBT transports test. . . . . . . : Failed List of NetBt transports currently configured: [FATAL] No NetBt transports are configured.' For future reference, can anyone advise what that message means (in a little detail) and what steps are required to correct it. I have an uneasy feeling there is a straightforward way of fixing it rather than the nuclear option I took. tks Marc
