Two Problems with system hang.

When I try to update Office 2003, I get a message about downloading a

file to help with the update and the downlaod bar goes to 10% complete

and just hanges...

And,

When trying to do a manual update on XP the whole thing just goes into

never never land for about 15 minutes and thenm I get a message about

the ActiveX control and it tells me I have to click on the IE7

Information bar to let the control install. I can't see the

information bar in IE 7 and can't get the control to download and

install...

Any tips ?
