ad hoc network and internet sharing between vista laptop and xp de

We just installed Verizon wireless broadband card, working great on Gateway

laptop running vista. I have been trying to set up an adhoc network so that

my Dell Desktop running XP media center can use the internet connection. I

have the ad hoc set up but cannot seem to get the internet sharing working.

someone please help :o)
