Posted August 24, 200717 yr XP Pro SP2. I've got two users installed on this machine, neither has a password. I've been able to switch users with no problem 'til now. I just installed a new version of Symantec Protection Agent 5.1 (a firewall that my employer provides and requires that I use if I'm going to log into the corporate network from home) and now when I switch users, I'm asked for a password. If I log off and then log on with the other user, it works. In fact, it looks like if I log off with one user, log on with the other, log off, then log back on with the first, switch user will work without prompting for a password. When I re-boot, the behavior starts over again. What might have been changed during this installation? -- Bert Hyman St. Paul, MN bert@iphouse.com
