Posted August 23, 200717 yr Have been using explorer to launch videos. This works fine for most purposes, however, On shutdown DEP comes online, and says It is shutting down Explorer. When I change setting to allow, or just have DEP stop explorer, the environment resets and I have to wait, then shut down windows a second time. I believe a good way to avoid this is to discontinue explorer launch of audio and video files and let the user manually launch the player they will use to play the files. The player associated or assigned to the file types can still be listed in a special control panel, but, again, the file would need to be played from the player instead of the explorer browser. Media Player has a corruption issue in its database, where, after 3- 5 launches of media files from explorer, the database becomes corrupt. I then have to remove the monitor folders from the setup. Remove the library list, restart player, and relist the monitor folders. Please look into this issue and see if is reduplicates or not. -- Visit Family Radio Today http://www.familyradio.com/
