Posted August 23, 200717 yr I have encountered a problem with Windows installer, which seems not to be working properly. This does not allow me to install the updated version KB893803 v2. In fact, whenever i run the file downloaded from microsoft (WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe) I get the message "Extraction failed: Can't find the specific file." Current File Version: 3.1.4000.4039 How can i correct the windows installer? Thanks in advance.
