Font/Language Display

Hey guys and gals...

I have a problem with XP - I just had the hard drive formatted and XP

reinstalled at a shop, and now have xp back up and running. However, I am

having major dramas with programs that are downloaded and installed from the

net.

I will usually run the setup from the location and then install it on the

system. Once installed, I open the program to find that the font or language

or something is definitely wrong. For example, I open up a program and on the

buttons I have things like " aa a o" and then "a s ra a" or a

field which is obviously some sort of option it has "a s usuh". There is

nothing that makes sense or anything that I can read, nothing. It is setup in

English, however I just can't make any sense of it.

Help??!!
