One of my co-workers has a wireless intellimouse explorer 2.0 that will

randomly pop up a warning message saying that the batteries are low. I have

been using 2 AA NiMH batteries that are fully charged. After the warning

message comes up, the mouse seems to go crazy for a second and then works

fine. I've tried replacing the batteries with Alkaline as well as with newly

charged NiMH batteries. On the intellimouse software that was installed on

the computer, the battery icon says that the battery has a good charge when

this happens as well. I downloaded the new software from microsoft.com as

well as tried simply syncing the receiver to the mouse, nothing seems to be

working. I'm stumped, please help! Thanks in advance.
