Guest JDS DDC controls MN Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 i have a windowsNT network (server + 3 workstations) that is currently operating with honeywell XBS 1.7 (building automation software). I purchased a new server and 3 new workstations with windows XP...i set up the new pc's the with the same IP's and they work together (file sharing shared files/drives...) however, the XBS software is not working on all workstations. The server has two isa cards and runs the XBS software, it gathers info from the BAS and runs great ..they seem to be having difficulty share the specific LAN share file of the XBS... my question is: can multiple workstations run the same executable (XGMAIN.exe)...at same time?.. (if the exe is a shared file)file from the server which has its local files stored on it's local disk? if not how do i recreate the NT network using XP?.... Quote
