Automatically Shutdown Server 2008 When All Client Computer Have Been Turned Off.

Hello,

 

We have installed Windows 2008 Server with 20 client computers, connected with DNS Server, our issue is that we have to turned off manually Windows 2008 Server daily after all client computer have been turned off.

 

Is it possible to shut down 2008 Server automatically when all client have been turned off after 5 pm daily, any tools or triq to solve this issue will be highly appreciated.

Really easy.

 

Create a batch file and write:

 

Shutdown -f -t 3

 

save and then create a new scheduled task and trig it at 5 pm. Then as an action, select the file you have just created.
