Whenever the PC goes on standby or shuts down, then powers up again, the

system does not recognise the webcam. I have an Intel board and chipset. I

have contacted the manufacturer of the cam on two occassions and they claim

that the only way to solve the problem is to change the IRQs. I have 6 USB

ports on board and everything works except the cam. Someone else suggested to

upgrade the BIOS. I have had the run around on the Intel site, indentified my

motherboard and chipset but there is no way I can sort this out. The only way

the cam works is to unplug it (after bootup) and re-plug it. It then works.

When powering down, the recognition is lost. Can anyone please assist with a

positive solution to this problem.
