Just did a clean install of XP Pro SP2 on a new machine.

At shutdown, I'm seeing an error dialog referring to DW20.EXE,

complaining that it failed to initialize because Windows is shutting

down.

I've found numerous references suggesting the fix is to turn off

error reporting, but they all relate to Office 2003 (or later).

Two problems here; I'm still using Office 2000 (required for

compatibility with my wife's workplace), and the fix begs the

question of why the error is occurring in the first place.

So, what's really going on?
