I have an HP Pavillion running Windows XP Home with SP2 and use the Office

2003 suite. The processor is an AMD Anthlon XP3100 2,20GHX with 512MB of RAM.

The machine hangs or completely freezes very freuqently and is getting nearly

impossible to use. I just had an IT guy in who checked all connections fan,

heat sink etc and he could find nothing. I ran the PC Doctor and all

componenets, memory, etc checked out OK. The hangupos occur during bootup

sometimes, other times they occur after the machine and programs have been

running.

    What antivirus do you have on the system ?
