I have at various stages copied cd's on to my pc. In trying to delete some of

these albums I am now encountering a problem. When I right click on a folder

to delete it and all the tracks within it I am getting an error message:

"cannot delete folder. it is being used by another person or program. close

any programs that might be using the file and try again."

I have tried deleting the albums via media player - 'remove from library and

computer' - and for some albums this has worked - I have then been able to go

to 'my music' in My documents and delete the empty folders, but for others

this still won't work. Please can anyone help me out?

Try to perform the deletion through Safe Mode and see if you are able to

delete them.

Or download this tool:

HTH.
