Hi All,

When I offer RA I receive an error message on the 1st attempt. When I send

the offer again, it works just fine. The event logs show two RA sessions

being started, no errors though. Any ideas on why this is happening? I've

heard this can be caused by resolution or volume license.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Let me understand the question. You are concerned that Remote Assistnce fails

to work the way you want it to, (as opposed to 'working' at all). You want to

define why the req for assistance takes two reps? It's probably a NAT issue,

having to do with your IP for an Internet connection, vs. your "local' IP

versis

start/run, type:

ipconfig

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'd like to define why the RA offer is taking two

attempts to connect. Per event logs the ip and port (3389) is correct even on

the 1st failed attempt. This is occuring on an internal segmented network,

even occurs between workstations on the same segment/switch. Following the

2nd attempt everything works fine.

Thanks again for the reply.
