Hyperterminal issues

Hi!

 

So I simply can't seem to detect my serial port on the hyperterminal,

although after using another device, I sensed some communication from

my serial device to my pc. In both cases however, I could not see any

output on the screens. And I have double-checked to make sure my

connections are all ok. Does anyone please know what could be wrong?
