I'm using windows xp pro have been many years. about a week ago I

started getting this loud beep through the speakers every time I try

to delete some thing and other times. when I try to delete a file the

windows pop-up comes up and asked if I want to delete this file and

send it to the delete file (yes, no) as I hit yes a loud beep comes

up. this is new I've not changed anything to my knowledge.

    Opens Sounds and Audio in the Control Panel. The sound associated with

    deleting a file can be set to none.

     

    Rightclick the Recycle Bin icon, and set the Properties to what you want.
