so im using microsoft network monitor to monitor all traffic in and out (public) and mirrored ports for local traffic, except wireless traffic as its connecting to the router.

I want to use a wifi NIC on the server to broadcast, so wireless clients can connect via the server and obtain DNS and DHCP etc from there, therefor, monitoring all traffic.

Below is a diagram. Is this possible?

Thanks!

ok so i still cant get this to work, managed to get the PCI card to broadcast etc over a ad-hoc setup, but i dont think this is the way to go.

With an ad-hoc, is it computer to computer, meaning only one computer can connect to it at a time? also i cant even get one computer connected, it says failed to connect to netwrok!

Thanks

Simply add your Nic, enable router role, or configure it, then route from WiFi to Ethernet. Use the built in program to configure ad-hoc network

some help on this would be really great. I have removed the wireless connection from the bridge, but in RRAS when i try add "New Interface" it says there are no new avaliable interfaces. also when i try add a new routing protocol the only interface i can add is the Network Bridge,

So, i have the wireless NIC on its own (Not in the Brige) and have setup an ad-hoc network, set an SSID and WPA key etc. However when i try connected from a wireless device, it fails to connect. Im guessing i willl also have to setup the device to assign DHCP from the server too

Thanks!
