How do I disable the notice that runs across the screen continuously (above

the network section) stating "Finalizing Installation". I started to install

something weeks ago (I can't remember what) then decided against it. Now

can't get that notice removed. What do I do?

Finalizing Installation of what? Is there no Title to that dialog box?

Try this:

1. Click Start - All Programs - Startup - check if there is an entry of the

same program.

2. Click Start - Run - type MSCONFIG and press Enter key.

3. CLick the Startup tab and try guessing the entry to that box. If (you

remember) it exists then uncheck the entry and restart your computer to

notice the changes.

Hope this help, let us know!
