I am currently running windows XP service pack 2 and internet explorer

7.

Recently i noticed that when i clean out my cache, delete temporary

files works and delete cookies works, but delete browsing history just

runs and runs forever never completeing. I can remove it via cc

cleaner, but i cant seem to fix IE 7's problem. Does anyone know of a

solution to fix this problem in explorer? Is there something i can

change in the registry or in safe mode to fix this?

In Internet Explorer select Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, Browsing,

Settings

check how many days history is being retained..

Gerry, thank you for the reply. I believe it is set to the standard 21

day time frame. Still, i have had that setting for a long while and it

never has done this before. Also, i did do a cc clean and then

reopened the browser to try the delete history function and it still

did the same thing. If there isnt anything in there, it shouldnt

matter how many days I set it at, should it?

Any other thoughts?
