Hi, Has anyone had any issues trying to install the new Adobe update?

I have spoken to their support team and they've told me it's a Microsfot

issue. I'm unable to edit a key in the resgitry as it keeps asking if I have

permission to do so. I'm logged on as administrator, it's a stand alone pc at

home and I've installed loads of downloads and programmes before this.

The exact text of the error message is:

Error 1406. Could not write value to key

\Software\Classes\TypeLib\{5F226421-415D-408D-9A09-0DCD94E25B48}

Please help as I'm at my wits end trying to resolve this.

Adobe is a company, and they make several different products. Exactly

what update, and to what product, are you asking about?

Use Regedit and grant yourself necessary security permissions on the key

and subkeys. Verify that inheritance is set from parent to child

objects. If you find yourself have difficulties with other keys you may

want to restore permissions as per instructions here:

OK, now we know the product. Now answer the other half of my question.

What particular update to it are you asking about?
