Programs not in Control Panel

I don't know when this happened, but I just noticed that in my control

panels to add/delete, there are only 5 programs in there, where under

programs I have 30 programs. I used to have them all in control panel and I

have no idea when or what happened to them. I don't remember changing any

settings either. Windows xp

    Start>All Programs Menu you have 30? What resides in the Add/Remove

    Programs are shortcuts to the

    Uninstallers of the programs usually found in C:\Program Files Folder.

    In the add/remove of the control panel I only have 5 programs that are not

    like games, IE, ccleaner, etc. I used to have them a few weeks ago, so

    something changed or I changed something. I even clicked the box show

    updates then unclicked it and nothing changed. So it doesn't even show the

    updates when I click it. This is strange.
