I just reinstalled windows XP and now it has set my resolution to 16 (medium)

it does not give me any other options. The windows are too big, i cannot see

everything in the window. i need to make them smaller, but again after

reinstalling it will not give me the option to change my resolution

Download and install the latest video driver from your Video Card's

manufacture's web site.

Not certain as to what card you have then try Belarc Advisor:

http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

It does a good job of providing a wealth of information.

Also check your sound system, if it does not work you will need the sound

card drivers also.

As JS says you need to reinstall drivers. If you have a CD that came with

the computer check it as it will have the drivers for your motherboard,

video (if it is onboard), sound, etc.
