I am using Windows XP Pro at this time and did a c/cleaner search which found

quite a few duplicate files, and would like to know how to remove the

duplicates without causing any problems.I am not a comp. whiz so any help in

novice terms would be appreciated.Thanks

Be *very* careful. Do not assume that because duplicate files are

reported that it is safe to remove one of them. It often is not.

My recommendation is that you leave it all alone, and don't remove

anything, but if you want to pursue removing them, first write back

with the names of the duplicates and where they are located.
