My parents have a Gateway desktop (bought in April 2007) with Vista, and

recently whenever they hit the left shift key, the calculator pops up. Any

suggestions on how to fix this?

I Guess its a gateway keyboard...Either way,as in xp,open device mgr,expand

the keyboard tree,R.click on the keyboard hardware, select uninstall, once all

have been uninstalled, restart pc,vista will reinstall on start-up.Or/and,with

xp,one opens add/remove programs/windows components,uncheck the

calculator box,exit,restart pc.
