Did you smoke some crack before posting that gibberish, or is that how

your mind normally works?

I doubt anyone has a direct answer, since few if any have tried what you

suggest. Why don't you try what you're contemplating and let us know the

results (in detail , please.) When it comes to backgrounds, AFAIK they

should work fine on XP, but don't expect any "glass" effects, etc. Icons are

a bit different, and my answer would be "maybe". I'm no expert on the

subject. As for "certain files", you're being much too vague.

Hi showman

 

If what you're after is a Vista "look" for your XP, there are lots of

themes out there and third-party programs to use them, such as

WindowBlinds or StyleXP. Have a Google and see if one of those will give

you what you want :-)
