Has anyone encountered the error message 0x000006ba (The RPC server is

unavailable) when doing sfc /scannow. It also says Windows file protection

could not initiate a scan of protected system files. If anyone knows how to

correct this please respond.

Although it references Windows 2000, it may also be applicable to XP
