I am having a desktop computer HP Pavillion a1240a having Window XP. The

sound some times you puton comes through the monitor speakers and next time

you put on computer, its gone. I can hear the sound if I connect headphone in

the CPU or in the jack behind the CPU from where the sound cable is

connected. I have tried changing cable but no use.

Hi Manu,

Is it very important to you that the sound comes from the speakers in the

monitor? If not, go to your local computer store and buy a pair of

speakers. They will not cost much. Also the sound, especially if you

listen to music, will be a lot better!

Best wishes,

Jim
