Hope somebody can help. I set up my email account, messenger, etc., on my

father in law's pc a few years ago. Neither of us were big users of the

internet or even the pc for that matter but things have since changed. I now

live elsewhere and have become more of a regular user of both. My

father-in-law has started using his pc more often of late too but is running

into problems. I think I need to clear/delete all my stuff from his system as

it seems to be causing problems for both myself and him. If I am online and

signed in on my pc with messenger it sometimes tells me that I am signed in

on another pc. I recently set him up on his pc with a new email address and

he too is having problems with getting online and signing in. Not sure what

to do. Could this problem be resolved through remote assistance????????

The easy option is to change your password. Because you are far away there is

no need to allow remote assistant or try other settings.

If you wish to try it, here are the steps for your father in law.

check this link:

Hope the above helps.

Thanks,

Remotely take his system to:

http://accountservices.passport.net/reg.srf

Create a new passport.

then remotely go to start.run, and type:

HH mk:@MSITStore:%windir%\Help\key.chm::/key_howto_delete.htm

Delete the old account, and add the new one as the default. (see Control

Panel/User Accounts app)
