Knowing enough to gather this kind of info, it's possible you can't

understand than any low talent little hacker baby can write to any driver

they wish? The essence of the concept 'driver' is it's HAL.(Hardware

Abstraction Layer)

 

0x4c implies some interface with your SCSI devices. Probably a Hard drive

controller.
