OK. After posting "Cannot Remove Flashplayer," earlier, I thought I'd post

the answer I found from adobe.com, since I did not get a correct solution

from this newsgroup.

From that page you can download a program for removing this bothersome set

of files. In my case, I wanted to remove an installation of Windows, but

could not delete the Flashplayer associated files, regardless!

 

From that page:

 

Download the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller:

a.. Windows: uninstall_flash_player.exe (136 KB) (updated 4/12/07)

Note: If you have a Windows Flash Player uninstaller downloaded prior to

April 12, 2007 on your desktop, then please delete it and download the

latest version.

b.. Mac OS X: uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg (278 KB) (updated 11/14/06)

c.. Mac OS 8.x, 9.x: uninstall_flash_player.hqx (33 KB)
