Mike62 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I re-install my XP pro and still unable to shut down normally have to force it with power button....also CPU usage always 100% ... Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted February 7, 2007 FPCH Admin Posted February 7, 2007 Restart after shutdown could be a setting in the bios. 100% cpu usage could be a program that is starting up. AV will lock up sometimes, but, since this is a clean install you probably do't have an AV installed yet. Look in Task Manager to see what process is taking up the CPU.
