Posted May 31, 200618 yr So from this morning my PC was clean and didn't have no threats until tonight. When I came back from work I saw multiple error messages that say "System Alert: Spyware Detected", now this error message is shown in the icon tray and is with that yellow warning exclamation mark and if I press on it internet explorer opens and tells me to try this virus-scan but obviously I did not try the scan. Anyway I have had pop-ups coming up on the desktop and my Microsoft Anti-Spware is finding the same spyware every 10-15 minutes (with same name). I think that these actions have been done because my sisters boyfriend downloaded some kind of media codecs and he doesn't even know about them, (I know about them because I use firefox and just went into Downloads). Can I do some kind of scan and send you the details to help me? There could be other problems but those I remember specifically. Thanks in Advanced. P.S. I have Mcafee 2006 Virus-Scan Suite Installed and Microsoft Anti-Spware, I have tried Spyware Doctor & Registry Mechanic scans also.

Anyway I have had pop-ups coming up on the desktop and my Microsoft Anti-Spware is finding the same spyware every 10-15 minutes (with same name). This is more then likely a trojan. I think that these actions have been done because my sisters boyfriend downloaded some kind of media codecs and he doesn't even know about them, (I know about them because I use firefox and just went into Downloads).OK, lets be real here.... he was downloading porn, and it said he could see the free movie if he installed a toolbar or some other type of feature. I can guarentee you 99% that this is the cause of all your problems. Can I do some kind of scan and send you the details to help me? There could be other problems but those I remember specifically. Thanks in Advanced. P.S. I have Mcafee 2006 Virus-Scan Suite Installed and Microsoft Anti-Spware, I have tried Spyware Doctor & Registry Mechanic scans also.I guess, to start off, you can name the product that allegedly is supposed to rid you of this pest, and next, you might wanna go to your add/remove programs in the control panel and uninstall the program that the porn movie installed. It may have installed MANY different programs. . .
