elaine Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Hi, before I start i'm pretty much computer illiterate. I want to buy a new computer to replace my old one which I purchased from dell (uk dell). When i purchased my old one the dell site was alot simpler (less options to change when configuring the computer and less computers to choose from in the first place) and with a bit of help I managed to purchase one which i have been very happy with. I wish to purchase my next computer through dell again but now their seems to be lots of options and differences between computers and their set ups. For example what's the difference between duel-core and duel-processor, whats the difference between 32bits and 64bits......... etc. I can't make anything out from it. Obviously I want to get my moneys worth and my son has been nagging me about not being able to play some of his games properly. I'm looking to spend around £1000-£1500, i was hoping someone would be able to suggest a good setup or an alternative to my problem. Thank you. (ps. If anyone could include simple description of the things above and any other important features (i.e. Duel Processesor etc.) I would much appreciate it) Quote
