Posted February 24, 200618 yr Hope someone can help. A friend of mine rebuilt a computer for me that crashed about 6 months ago. Before the crash I had sound. I installed a new HD and everything works fine except for sound. I never bothered to doing anything about the sound 6 months ago but now I want to be able to hear music and can't and would like to fix the proble. I don't have any drivers. I cant seem to get a hold of the person who built the computer to see if he has a driver for the soundcard. Can anyone tell me what else I can do. Should I go out and buy another soundcard? I really dont think there is anything wrong with this one. Thanks.
