My system crash from trojan.startpage

being unable access partition (bad MBR) so I installed winXP on an unused partition was able to bootup.

Then used a Demo of "Partition Table Doctor" it fixed it I guess becouse I can access it in dos promt as F: drive but "Partition table doctor" won't make it active unless I buy full version. Is there a way to change it to C: and make active and what do I do with the partition that I have windows on right now

It sounds like you need to set the boot flag of the original partition, and set NTLDR to boot from it. The first part can be done with any partitioning tool (ie, fdisk). The second task might be doable from msconfig on the new partition, but you might need to do a repair install on the old partition (never really messed with it before).
