Hi guys,

my bios can detect my cd rom but why when i click on MY COMPUTER, my drive becomes a dvd drive even though mine is a normal cd rom drive. My nero also can't detect my cd rom drive. The DVD drive is like a fake one. Why is this so?

I have a similiar issue, Mine is with a dvd burner, it's not burning in dvd format, only cd format :{

any help would be greatly appreciated, either here or via email
