Home XP Activation problems

I installed XP Home on my laptop and duly activated it within a couple of days after checking that all the drivers etc were working ok.

 

The past few days I have started receiving the warning notice that XP needs to be activated.

 

The first day, I ignored this, but the past few days with the countdown continuing I decided it would be best to reactivate.

 

I select the activate now option, and am taken to a page where I get the message "this software is already activated".

 

I then tried a manual activation and again got the same message.

 

The question is, in four days time is my software going to cease working, what can I do.
