Hey guys,

I have an ATI Radeon 9600PRO that I'm using for my primary monitor. Now that I have two monitors, I bought a ATI MACH64 GX 64 bit video card from Ebay. When I put in the second card, Windows XP saw that it was there. However, I am having driver issues with it. When I tried to do automatic update it assumed I was using my 9600PRO for my secondary monitor. When I went into check up on the driver for the second monitor and tried to update the driver, it said that there was nothing it could find to replace the driver that i already have. (or something to that effect.)

So I'm at a standstill. I want to hook up a dual monitor system to assist my in my online pokery hobby, but I'm running into dead ends every which way.

Any suggestions?

I would get the latest driver for the card from ATI, unzip it to a directory, and when updating the driver click 'Have Disk' and point it to the directory you unzipped the driver into. Chance of success is greatest if the secondary card is supported by the Catalyst or Hydravision drivers (preferably Hydravision).
