Llama Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 I Need Help. Currently I have two computers. One which is Directly Wired to my Internet Service and is Windows XP. The other Computer is Windows 98 And I am trying to Hook it up to the internet by installing this LinkSys WMP54G Card into it. I have a Wireless BroadBand Router (Linksys WRT54G) Running on the Windows XP computer and it is working fine. Now the problem is that the Windows 98 Computer, with the Wireless Adapter Card in it, Does not seem to recognize that the card is in it. I have all the drivers installed and everything. When I go to See if the internet is working on it I get a message that says "No association With Access Point!". Is there any way that someone can help me to solve thios problem? Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted February 6, 2005 FPCH Admin Posted February 6, 2005 You need to configure the connection with the Linksys software. "No association With Access Point!" means that a connection can't be established. You have to create a profile with auth settings, ap ssid and channel settings.
