i'm getting a message on some of my internet pages that reads "your current security settings prohibit running active x controls on this page. as a result, the page may not display correctly". i then go ahead and click ok and view the page as if nothing happened. it doesnt happen on every internet page so i am puzzled. also its annoying to go thru this on some pages. anyone know what i need to do to correct this. van
Its generally a good idea to leave ActiveX controls off unless you visit a page that needs them. I think that the 'enable third-party browser extensions' in the Advanced tab of Tools->Internet Options may be what controls them.
