Posted January 8, 200520 yr Hi new here and know nothing about computers..Yesterday I tried to print some picture and everytime I try to print error pops up saying..Hp deskjet has encounter a problem and needs to close...the last time i use my printer was a month ago and never had any problems..my computer is gateway 2000 and the printer is hp deskjet5550 and I using windows xp home edition
January 8, 200520 yr I have a similar issue with my 5550; every time I print I get an error, except that the printer is usually done printing by the time the error pops up. January 8, 200520 yr Author the first couple times nothing would print-so i turned the printer off and unpluged it for a little bit and restarted my computer now it will print but error pops up first and then it will print.
